English sampler-making had its "golden age" during the seventeenth century when luscious bands of stuffed flowers and fruits were ornately embroidered with brilliant colors. This pincushion presents an oppertunity to learn eight sampler stitches and continue the seventeenth century tradition of sampler-making at its finest.
